In 2018, the updated GT3 RS was unveiled. The new engine featured a 9,000 rpm redline, like in RSR race cars. It also had an extra 20 hp.<\/p>\n

For the first time, brake cooling ducts were added to the bonnet. The car is fitted with a giant rear wing (like in the GT2 RS) for increased downforce.<\/p>\n

Lightweight glass was used for the rear and side windows. Designed for both the street and the racetrack, the car created a sensation in N\u00fcrburgring, where it recorded a lap time of 6:56.4 minutes. Until then, only three Porsches <\/em>had broken the seven-minute barrier.<\/p>\n
