This is one of the best looking and most prized collector cars \u2013 the last of the Mohicans as far as air-cooled Porsches <\/em>go. When they first went into production, they cost around USD 60,000, but now they go for 10 times as much. This model is valued for its small production run and the fact that it is the last air-cooled car in the RS series. It\u2019s considered the forefather of the modern GT3 RS.<\/p>\n

The car came out in 1995, right after the recession in Europe. Until then, Porsche <\/em>produced the not-very-popular 968 model. In 1995, the entire range was presented at the Amsterdam Auto Show: two- and four-wheel drive cars, a coup\u00e9 and a convertible, and the RS. This is one of the lightest cars in the RS series. In addition, its chassis is 20 per cent stiffer than the previous 964. The RS was the first 993 to come with the 3.8-litre VarioRam<\/em> engine, which produced 28 more hp than the standard Carrera<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The car in the collection is in perfect condition, with just 14,000 km on the odometer.<\/p>\n
